Box Elder, Montana – Native American Bank, N.A. (NAB) has vacated their Loan Production office in Box Elder, MT due to significant problems with the integrity of the building that impeded the banks’ ability to provide services to the community. The Business Development Representative has not been able to occupy the building since September 20, 2018, and although the building has since been cleared, NAB has decided to not reoccupy the building. The bank made attempts to identify an available alternative space to house the Rocky Boys’ loan production office, but have been unsuccessful. Therefore, due to these circumstances, NAB will no longer operate out of the this location.
The ATM located at the Rocky Boy’s office will accept deposits until December 21st, 2018. It is strongly encouraged that all deposit account customers become familiar with NAB’s Mobile Banking product which was released in early November 2018. It is important to note that customers can withdraw funds without incurring surcharge fees through the MoneyPass network of ATMs. Visit www.moneypass.com to locate the MoneyPass ATM nearest you. Currently the nearest MoneyPass ATMs are located at the U.S. Bank in Havre, Montana and the U.S. Bank in Fort Benton, Montana.
Current NAB loan customers will continue to mail their loan payments to the Browning, Montana branch. The customers utilizing the Chippewa Cree tribal department payroll deduction method of loan payments will remain in effect. Deposit and loan customers have the ability to make payments from their NAB deposit account directly to their NAB loan through the banks online eBanking platform.
